- How do I use the Gear Selector?
The Gear Selector can help you to determine the best gear setup to reach a particular RPM.
In order to use it, you must first add all your gear inventory into the system by going to the Main Menu and selecting the "Add/Edit Gears" button.
Also, you must first enter in a tolerance for the Gear Selector. This is done by going to the Main Menu and selecting the "Settings" button at the top right of the page.
This tolerance will allow you to filter the results of gear ratios from your inventory.
If you would like to see every gear ratio from all your inventory, enter 100 in for the tolerance. However, to filter the results down to gear combinations that result in, for example a ratio within 10% of your target ratio, simply enter 10 in.
To use the Gear Selector once your tolerance is set and your gear inventory is entered, simply choose the brand of engine you are interested in (Deco or Honda).
Then enter in your current gear setup (i.e your engine gear number and your axle gear setup). If you just want the current gear ratio, you can skip the RPM inputs.
However, if you would like the Gear Selector to search your inventory of gears and give you the various gear combinations to reach a certain RPM, then you must input your last run (specified as "Actual RPM") RPM and your target RPM. Once you've done that, select the "Find Ratio" button.
The Selector will then bring up a list of gear combinations that give ratios within the tolerance you set earlier. It will also indicate how much of an RPM change you can get by changing to the new gear combination.
- How do I add setup info for my logs?
To do this, from the Main Menu, select the "Enter Log Data" button. You will then see a form to input your track log data.
You will need to select the track you are on (must be one that you previously added to your tracks) and a car/driver (also one that you previously added to the database).
The Date will be pre-populated with today's date, or you can select your own date. You can now input your Best Lap Time for this log entry.
To add data for the Weights and to have the app calculate Stagger, select the "Weights& Stagger" button. Here you will enter in the corner weights (the app will calculate the Total, Tear, Left, Cross Weights and Rear Split). You will also enter in the rear tire circumferences for the Stagger calculation. If you have entered in all the data for the Weights&Stagger fields a green check will appear next to the button on the main log entry screen to indicate all entry fields are filled.
The toe in/out in accessed from the "Alignment" button. You can also calculate the Axle Lead by entering the Axle to Axle for Outside and Inside. If all three fields have been filled in, a green check will appear next to the Alignment button on the main log entry screen.
The Air Temperature and Track Temperature can also be added for logging.
To enter in detailed information for each corner of the car, select the corner of the car image you wish to add data for. Information for the Tires, Wheels, Suspension and several other items is entered here.
Once you have entered all of the information you wish to save, select the "Save Log" button at the bottom of the page.

To find the log you wish to either view or mark as optimum, select the track and car associated with that log and select the "Search Logs" button.
A list of all the log entries (listed by Date) for that combination of track and car will be shown. From there, you can either Delete that entry from the database or you can select it to view it.
Once your log has come up you can then expand the various items to view the details of the sections (e.g. Gears, weights, etc...). At the bottom of the page, you may select the "Mark As Optimum" button.
To view all of your log entries that you marked as optimum, select "Optimum Settings" from the main menu page. Select the track and car associated with the optimum log you wish to view and select the "Search Optimums" button.

- Why are there no measurement units?
The reason there are no units specified is so that you can use any measurement system you would like. The only thing to keep in mind is that whatever system you use, stay consistent. e.g. If you measure something in inches, measure everything else in inches as well.
This app was designed to be fast and flexible. And as such, no units are specified.
